This spring has been a time of new things for the Ovi Blog. Just three days ago we got a brand new look, and during the past couple of months we’ve started introducing different kinds of content (such as personal stories and sneak peeks behind the Ovi curtain) to you, our readers. The Ovi Blog will always be about Ovi – the news, updates and product releases – but we also want to make Ovi more personable (and fun!), hence, for example, the recent Ovi People Interviews. We’re continuing on that same path of new content, because we want you to get to know Ovi a bit better. And on that note, from now on Friday will be the day when the Ovi Blog takes off the tie (or feather boa, we don’t judge here), rushes the stage in a Kanye West-approved manner and tries to give you guys a little comic relief at the end of your work week. We want to show you our fun side. So every Friday, please put on your party hat before you access blog.ovi.com, OK?

This Friday we’ll share some crafty little flash cards with you. Don’t you just love the fact that Ovi by Nokia makes so many things in your life a lot easier? I mean, you can find your way around with Maps, download some games, apps and music and sync your phone with your PC… Sure, Ovi does all that. It gets you through the week. But we also know how it bums you out that when you go out on a Friday, you never know what to say to girls (or guys). Am I right? Ovi can’t possibly help you become a smooth operator overnight.

Or can it?

We put our thinking caps on and said to ourselves, “how can Ovi make anyone a total success when talking to the laydeez (or fellas)”? And then we got it! We totally got it! Behold the fruit of our complex thinking process: the Ovi Pick-up Lines. Print them out, cut them into cards, laminate if needed and bring them with you when you hit the town.
