AccueilWe use apps everyday. And, most of the time, we have exactly the apps we need, precisely when we need them. But once in a while, do you find yourself thinking “Where’s the app for … ?” (You can fill in the blanks on that one.)
Well, now is your chance to share your best ideas for new mobile apps that answer that very question! You see, there’s a contest going on now – open only to resident of the United States – to submit your ideas for a chance to win a trip for two to the Nokia IdeasProject Re-Launch VIP Party and Concert during South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, on Saturday, March 12, 2011.
It is easy to enter! All you have to do is think of a brand new idea for a mobile app that you would love to see. Do you have a suggestion for an app that would make the world a better place? Then, go to Nokia’s IdeasProject.com to submit your idea. In fact, you can submit up to 10 individual ideas to the contest.
Submissions for “Where’s the App for…?” can be as simple as text descriptions of your original idea, or you can record a video and post it to YouTube describing your idea. Text submissions should be 50 – 250 words; videos can be up to three minutes in length.
What can you win?
The contest winner and a guest will receive the following:
- Coach airfare to Austin, Texas (arrive 11 March, depart 14 March)
- Hotel for 3 nights
- Passes to the SXSW conference
- Attendance for one day at the Nokia lounge
- Attendance at the Nokia-sponsored reception and concert
But the clock is ticking! Submissions for this contest are due by midnight, Pacific time on Friday 25 February 2011.
