Are you spontaneous and you book your accommodation only when you reach your destination? You are going to love this.

In fact, Ovi is expanding the location aware hotel booking feature of Maps.
After Germany and Finland, we are now very excited to introduce location aware hotel booking also in United Kingdom and United States in cooperation with Expedia.

How are you going to use this great service? I’m going to use it for my next trip in the US: I can totally see me and my friends driving around and book a good hotel whenever we feel to stop somewhere. This makes traveling so much easier and fun! If you have ever spent hours at the phone desperately looking for a room, you know what I mean.

The location aware hotel booking always show the nearby hotels sorted by distance. But if you want to plan a bit in advance you can also search for accommodation in another city.

I know you want to give it a try Just make sure to have the latest Maps release (download it now for you Nokia GPS phone) and the Expedia icon will magically appear on Maps menu (you might have to select More first).

Just remember that this service, powered by Expedia, is currently available only for users in UK and US, while HRS is providing it in Germany and Finland.
