Well, we’re all winners in life, but only 6 lucky individuals won some seriously cool Ovi stuff this week! Remember that fabulous Ovi Blog re-design we rolled out exactly two weeks ago? And remember how I told you we’re so excited about the New Ovi Blog (TM) that I promised to give you guys some free Ovi goodies? An exclusive Ovi skateboard and some sweet T-shirts, to be precise? Yes, it’s the moment everyone in the Internet (just play along) has been waiting for: it’s time to announce the Winners! First of all, we got a huge number of tweets and an even bigger number of comments, all full of positive sentiments and ‘way to go!’s for the Ovi Blog. I gotta tell ya, even a noisy, moody chick like me was totally humbled, silenced and taken by all the wonderful thoughts you sent our way (and are still sending, by the way!). It seriously means the world to us that you believe in what we’re doing here! :) So thank you all!

With that said, the following people were chosen by the team as winners of the fantastic Ovi T-shirts:

First of all, Randa sent us a wonderful comment full of excitement to Saara’s interview post on May 11th. Also, we figured Edward (who commented on a our skateboard post on May 14th) absolutely cannot walk around with that S60 T-shirt he mentioned he has =) I mean, come on! We’re also sending a T-shirt to Kees, who was so excited about our very own Dan Marinescu’s Moroccan-style Maps post that he shared his own experiences about traveling in Morocco with Maps on May 13th in the comments section. See? Share something with us and you might get free stuff in return! :D Pretty sweet deal, eh? Also, a T-shirt with the text “maps.ovi.com” will probably be very appreciated in the home of such an ardent Maps fan… =)

The next T-shirt went to Hari007, who basically took us down with sheer volume of comments! Man, even I don’t comment that much when I’m on the Rock of Love discussion forum (just kidding, we love you, keep coming back!) :)

And the last of the five T-shirts went to @itsnoel simply for this tweet. I mean… how could we not reward that? =)

And finally… the skateboard. As much as I hate to give it up (it may or may not have functioned as a make-up station for the past week), we decided to give it out to Thomas Arie, who gave us some seriously detailed, well articulated and very useful feedback on the very first days of the re-design and most definitely deserves some love from us! So congratulations to Thomas, Randa, Edward, Kees, Hari007 and itsnoel!!! We really felt the love and now, you’ll get to either envelope yourself in a comfy Ovi T-shirt or roll down the streets with the flyest skateboard there ever was!

Oh, and don’t even begin to think this is the last you’ll hear about our fabulous winners. I’ve asked all of them to send me a picture of themselves either wearing their T-shirt or holding the skateboard, which will then be published right here at the Ovi Blog! So my master plan of making Thomas et al. total celebrities is well under way… :)

Now, you’re probably thinking: “but what about MEEEEE?!” We have good news for you too; Santa has tons of Ovi goodies in his sleigh (that was my awkward way of saying there’s more where that came from)! Meaning, we’ll be giving out even more stuff during the next couple of months and during the rest of the year, so you’ll have PLENTY of opportunities to win some of it! My devious mind is already plotting what the next competition could be about (would “Draw a picture of me and win some stuff” be a totally bad idea?) so stay tuned and keep checking the Ovi Blog regularly!
