Zeon intros polarizer that boosts LCD contrast

Japan-based Zeon has introduced a new type of polarizing film dubbed phase difference film that is said to increase the contrast of the screens to viewers by a factor of ten. The film is made for OLED displays that use in-plane switching (IPS) technology and inhibits the diffusion of light from the backlight panels.
