White iPhone 4 gets sold early at Vodafone UK

Virtually guaranteeing the white iPhone 4 would ship next week, a customer claimed to have successfully bought one at Vodafone UK. A 16GB version was sold through the system as though it were a white model and is now confirmed to have a slightly different MC604B/A model number instead of the usual MC603B/A for black. Vodafone helped confirm suspicions further when it put out a store notice after the one customer passed through to withhold further "until next week," Engadget said....
