Verizon's chief lobbyist and former Republican Tom Tauke said Thursday that his company was worried the AT&T buyout of T-Mobile would justify the FCC regulating the industry further. He brought up anti-government fears that it would lead to "government management of the marketplace" and wanted the FCC to keep any merger terms limited to the transaction, not the Internet as a whole.
