Twitter preps new mobile web app with iPhone-like interface

Twitter in an evening post undertook its first major remake of its mobile website in over a year. The new version takes direct cues from the iOS and Android mobile apps with the same basic navigation bar and touch-friendly buttons. The page can scale up to tablet size and uses HTML5 to achieve many of the effects that needed an app in the past....
