Twitter adds push notifications to iPhone, SMS for mentions

Twitter today updated its official iPhone and iPad app (free, App Store) to roll in push notifications. The feature can pop up a notice when either an @ mention or a direct message comes through from fellow users that already follow an account. Using the feature is optional....
