Twitter 2.0 hits Android with new UI, better search

Twitter today catered to Android users with a major revamp of its app. Twitter 2.0 has a completely new, cleaner interface that now jumps directly to the timeline instead of a splash screen. Searching is also now much more intelligent and can search for keywords based on location and search for people by their formal name, not just their username....
