TRIM support for SSDs already on in 2011 MacBook Pros

Owners of new MacBook Pros are already getting the TRIM command support for SSDs well ahead of its debut in Lion, a new check uncovered on Friday. Buyers who option up the systems with one the build-to-order SSD drives will see TRIM support mentioned in System Profiler. AppleInsider couldn't quantify the speed improvement in its finding, but even new MacBook Air units so far ship without TRIM onboard....
