Stranded? Call for free with fring and Ovi by Nokia

If you’re stuck in one of the European airports (including Paris, London, Berlin, Frankfurt) you can get $5 (USD) fringOut FREE to call home and make your arrangements.

It’s not secret that because of the weather conditions many passengers are currently stranded in European airports. Especially during the Xmas time, a lot of people are traveling and communicating with those they care about. This is why fring and Ovi are cooperating to help out the stranded and give them the possibility to call for free.

If you’re stuck in one of the European airports (including Paris, London, Berlin, Frankfurt) you can get $5 (USD) fringOut FREE to call home and make your arrangements.

To get $5 (USD) of fringOut calls, please follow these instructions:

1. Connect to the airport WiFi
2. Download fring on your Nokia
3. Click the fringOut icon in the fring app to activate fringOut account
4. Tweet your fring user ID, include @fring and a picture of your valid ticket and #freefringairport (e.g. #freefringairport my @fring userID: Jimmy1709, www.mypicture.com)

The fring team will credit your account $5 with calling credit (about enough for up to 12 hours of calling home).
Note: fring will give up to 1 million free fringOut minutes until the European travel conditions return to normal.
