RED to start Mysterium-X sensor upgrades next week

RED this evening said it would start offering RED ONE owners an upgrade to its new Mysterium-X sensor next week on January 22nd. The deal will give the 4K camera the improved imaging for $5,750 and will also include a new optical low pass filter. A new version of REDCINE-X will be needed to handle the updated greater-than-HD video and should be available at the same time....
