Qualcomm to be first with shipping 28nm chip in 2011

During a third quarter earnings call, Qualcomm Executive VP Steven Mollenkopf revealed the company's first 28-nanometer device will go commercial at the end of the year, AndroidAndMe reported. The chip architecture, codenamed Krait, is most likely to show up in HTC hardware. More than one source told AndroidAndMe that prototype devices with Krait have been provided to Google....
