Do you believe in magic? Or, would you like to perform a few tricks on your own that you can use to fool family and friends? Well, take a seat in the front row, and prepare to be amazed! Over at the Ovi Daily App we have been waving our magic wand over our Nokia smartphones, and watching cool apps appear before our very eyes.

These apps that will call upon all of your conjuring skills – but we think you can handle it.

First up is Spoon! by Trixcell.com, and distributed in Store by the creative publishers at eyeSight. This app gives you the power to bend virtual cutlery, directly on your Nokia device. And, best of all, you do the entire trick hands free!

Don’t believe me, watch this short video from Trixcell to see this app in action:

Spoon! is available in Store for $1.99 (USD), and works on a broad range of Nokia Symbian OS, S60 devices (it is not available for the newest Symbian devices like the Nokia N8 at this time).

For our next trick, we have a clever act of mentalism called Magic Paper by 5C-Basic, where you will be able to read the mind of someone in your adoring audience. Ask that person to think of a number, but not tell you what it is. Then, let Magic Paper go to work! With no intervention or secret moves on your part, your phone will do what appears to be the impossible: read that person’s thoughts about the secret number! Even better, as our reviewer in the Ovi Daily App blog noted: “there’s no setup required, which means you can repeat this trick immediately and your friends will be none the wiser.”

Now, of course, we won’t reveal how this, or any of today’s tricks are actually done – we wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise! Magic Paper is also available in Store for $1.99 (USD), and it also works on a broad range of Nokia Symbian OS, S60 devices, including the new Symbian devices like the Nokia N8.

Our last trick today is a card trick – and it comes to use from the famous street magician, David Blaine. This app uses a complete deck of digital cards, and you can use the app to magically reveal any card from the deck that your spectator picks while looking at the cards. Of course, like with Magic Paper, you don’t want your guest to tell you the card that he’s thinking about – keep it a secret! And then – voila! – let the Street Magic app show the chosen card.

Street Magic, published in Store by Mindboggling is available for only $0.99 (USD).  This app is also available for a wide range of Nokia Symbian devices, including new ones like the Nokia N8.

Now remember, to make these tricks convincing for your friends, be sure you find some time to practice them first. I assure you, your friends will be astounded!
