Most of you might have noticed that the maps version that we have unveiled at Nokia World last year has graduated from Betalabs and is now in production.

We now have a newer version of maps for Nokia devices in Nokia Beta Labs. Here is what Rebekah Warren, my colleague who works with Beta Labs have to say about it:

Hi All,

I work with the Ovi Maps team and collect your feedback and observations in Beta Labs and make sure that your voice is heard by the product teams. Today we launched a new maps version-  on the heels of the version 3.06 graduation! One of the biggest changes you’ll see is that we have removed the application menu to Map, Navigation, Check in and Local content.  We did this for quick and easy access to the apps you want.
