We have a great new app in store for you & your Symbian touch device: the new Music Explorer app which lets you search and preview the music in your local Ovi Music store – in your own language.

With the Music Explorer you can easily be updated of the top tracks in your favorite genre. You can access exclusive offers and features, and get recommendations of new music based on your favorite genres. 30 second clips of the songs can be listed over 3G or wifi. To get the news in real time, add the app as a widget to the home screen of your Nokia.

Get the free app from Ovi and let us know which great new discoveries you have done.

To start for instance with mine, my discovery of today is Hevisaurus, a very fun Finnish metal band for children (yes, you can say that we indeed are a heavy metal nation!), whom I also just discovered being nominated for an Emma award (the equivalent of Grammy in Finland) for the best music album of the year for children. Great music to listen to with my nephew!
