Well it’s been a couple of weeks since we launched the Nokia N8 and I’ve been noticing a lot of interest around our new social networking app. I’ve tracked down some videos that I thought you might enjoy as you learn to use the app.
First off, for those of you who have already started using the application, you may have noticed that we have already added some new stuff. That’s right, we’ve made a few neat changes, making it even easier to share content like photos or a videos straight from the camera or gallery. We have also updated the Home Screen Widget, which will now automatically scroll through your social updates without you having to lift a finger! Our friends at All About Symbian thoroughly reviewed these changes for you.
Also, for those of you in Asia – you will be excited to learn you can now use the Nokia N8 social app to access RenRen in locations such as mainland China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos and Hong Kong.
The Nokia Blog team captured many of the updates in a recent video post – Take a look:
If this is your first time checking out the app I want to make sure that you are able to set it up and use it without any problems.
Here’s a video from the Nokia Support YouTube channel to help you with this:
You should now be all set up and ready to go, which means you may be looking for some tips on how to use the app. The guys at Electric Pig have recently held a live Q&A around social networking on the Nokia N8. It’s quite a lengthy video, but you’ll find some good answers to your questions here:
So, that just about wraps everything up. I hope you enjoy the social app on the Nokia N8. Do you have any tips you would like to share? Perhaps you just want to leave us some feedback? Whatever it may be, let us know in the comments below!
