Ovi for Travelers: Trip Advisor now on Store and Maps

In the past weeks we have been adding a lot of different travel tools to Ovi: HRS and Expedia to book your next hotel, Qype to read and share reviews, Time Out to know always what’s going on are just some examples of what you can do with Maps.

Today we would like to announce another fantastic service that will confirm Ovi as your favorite travel companion. Trip Advisor is probably world’s most trusted travel site and now it’s available with more than 35 million reviews, forums and suggestions from the Store and on Maps.

This last integration is particularly interesting because, like all other services on Maps, it is location aware. This means that exploring what is around you, following suggestions and writing your own reviews about where you are is just one click away.

Trip Advisor is available worldwide from the Store, while the Maps integration is currently being rolled out first in UK, US, Germany and Finland. UK and US residents get also a bonus: they can also see Trip Advisor reviews directly on Expedia for Maps.

You can use Trip Advisor by opening Maps v3.04 and selecting the icon More.
