Who are you and what do you do? Tell us the story of your life!

Hi to all! Lemme tell my name first, I am Jade Bryan Jardinico, 19-year-old student and living on top of the sock-shape island of the beautiful Philippines. I am currently studying in a university taking ECE (electronics & communication engineering) and I am on my 4th year now (up to 5th year for bachelor’s degree). Being a student is so much fun so I will definitely try to enjoy the next couple of years that I have left before leaving my beloved place to pursue a career in the future. I also write to SymbianWorld.org as my hobby is blogging accompanied with being a tech enthusiast.

What makes you passionate about what you do?

What makes me passionate about what I do is that I’m happy about what I do. I enjoy my life and live it to the fullest. It means I like facing problems and challenges; that’s how I learn from them.

What do you like to do on your spare time? Do you have any hobbies, pets etc.?

Well, being a student can only have much free time during weekends and vacation. I spend it sitting on front of my PC, either watching movies, doing some research or blogging, and if not, I hang out with my friends and family. Aside from my usual hobbies, I think what I do best is when I have my N97 mini with me and just shoot & shoot photos outdoors. From our pets to sunsets in the backyard is what I always love to shot in the lens of my N97 mini.

How did you find out about us (the Ovi Blog)?

If I remember correctly, I first visited the Ovi Blog when Ovi Maps was launched. I still have some memories of what the blog looks like before it was redesigned. And until now I still love hanging in this blog :) (ed.note: thanks Jade!)

How long have you been a Ovi/Nokia fan?

Almost 9 years now since I had my first phone of my mum which is a 3210 which I always borrow to play the classic Snake. I’m at grade school that time so I still have an excuse. :D That’s also how I became a fan of Nokia as well as Ovi when it was launched few years back.

What do you like most about Ovi/Nokia?

What I like most about Nokia is that I love how they deal with people. Nokia as a whole is very diverse and friendly. They always prioritize on answering people’s needs; thus, they always have very innovative devices and services accompanied with solutions. Nonetheless, they always made things connected.

What was your very first Nokia device?

Nokia 8850 was the first Nokia device I had when my father gave it to me, and although I always borrowed my mum’s 3210 back then, the 8850 still was the first mobile phone I owned.

Which device do you use right now?

Right now I have my Nokia N97 mini and Nokia E52. I use the mini for taking pictures, using Twitter and apps, but E52 is always on my pocket, though. I like the E52 because of the compact size and it’s very clever to use in my daily needs.

What’s your favourite thing you’ve downloaded from Store? Why?

My favorite thing that I’ve downloaded from Store is Gravity (my second favourite is the Angry Birds game!). I’ve been a “twitterholic” for more than a year now and every day I spend most of my time tweeting to my friends.

What were you looking for the last time you used Maps?

Last time I was thinking of bringing my N97 mini to a photo shoot trip and I looked for museums using Ovi Maps and it gave me very specific instructions on how to go to these places. Yay! Ovi Maps FTW!

What would you like tell us here at Ovi by Nokia?

To Ovi by Nokia: thank you to all the services that are offered. They are useful and I wish you will deliver even more great content soon. Plus, always keep making this blog more exciting as you have so far (thanks to Niini for all the efforts as well to contributors!). I always wish for the best for Ovi in future and for Nokia as well.
