Today is my last day as the editor of Ovi Blog, and I’d just like to say a h-u-u-u-g-e thank you to every single one of you who have read our stories, engaged in a conversation with us, left comments and kept coming back to say hi to us. You have had a crucial role in making this blog what it is today and you have also helped us make our products even better. For that: a humble thank you. You really are the best fans out there (and whoever claims otherwise, I will engage in a cat fight with them).

You’ve also been an awesome ‘audience’ for mine and Pino’s crazy and less-crazy stunts (heh), and you’ve made this job just… wonderful. I’m really going to miss you guys! I will now move over to another Finnish company called Fazer to work on their social media strategy, so basically they will now get the “Miss Ovi Blog” treatment I’m fairly sure they know what they’re getting into…

Anyway, I also wanted to use this chance to remind you that we have some amazing things coming up here in the Ovi Blog in the very near future. We may or may not give out an Ovi-fied Nokia N8 as a competition prize soon… we might make our awesomely fantastic Ovi Fan Interviews even bigger than they are right now, with more and more fascinating interviewees… we might be planning to do more (and bigger!) Sports Tracker competitions, writing even more interesting content, giving you more scoop… you know, that kind of stuff

And who will be taking care of you from now on? My wonderful friend Pino! Mr. Ovi Blog (that will be his calling name from now on, thankyouverymuch)! We’ve actually been taking care of the Ovi Blog together, as a team, since the summer, so he’s without a doubt the best person to take this thriving community and make it even bigger and 125.7% more fabulous. You will also be meeting more guest writers in the future, who will deliver all the Ovi news to you, fresh from behind the scenes.
