Novatel prepping Mac-friendly Verizon 4G modem

Verizon will have Mac support for its new LTE-based 4G network in the near future as a leak of marketing material has given away its plans on Monday. Novatel is due to launch its own USB stick for the service, the USB551L, which is explicitly listed as "Mac compatible." No mention is made in the Engadget tip of an EVDO fallback, however, suggesting it may lose its connection outside of current 4G coverage areas....
