Nokia may slash up to 6,000 research jobs




Nokia may soon cut 38 percent of all of its research and development jobs, according to Finnish office worker union Pro. This translates to about 6,000 employees, and Forbes expects the restructuring will be officially announced before month's end. The phone giant doesn't need the staff, as it has struck a deal with Microsoft that will see Nokia preload Windows Phone 7 onto its products....
