To round off this weeks Nokia N8 Game A Day we have one more racing game for you: Raging Thunder 2 from Polarbit. For those keeping track this is our 3^rd racing game this week but when the games are this good we just can’t stop recommending them!

While Raging Thunder 2 has all the qualities you look for in a racing game – touch and tilt controls, amazing race tracks, and super cool cars – what is unique about Raging Thunder 2 is the ability to play online against other people real-time. In addition to this there’s a global scoreboard so you can see how you stack up against the rest of the world.

The simple-to-use touch screen interface is very smooth on the Nokia N8 and you’ll find yourself competing in Career Mode with the car of your choice in no time. Touch and tilt support means you can play the game the way you want to play it and the sensitivity settings apply to both the accelerometer and the brakes, allowing you to customize your driving style.

Raging Thunder 2 is packed with a variety of game modes including the classic Arcade style, Survival, Time Trials, and of course a Career Mode. The one interesting element is most race tracks have the boost power upgrades in difficult spots on the track unlike other racing games I’ve played which have the boosts in the middle of the track so they’re quite easy to get. This makes for some interesting driving as you swerve around trying to collect the boosts and speed ahead of your opponents.

Overall Raging Thunder 2 is another great addition to the Nokia N8 and it’s available now on the Store for all Symbian^3 devices; including Nokia N8 and Nokia C7-00.
