We have another exciting Nokia N8 title to round off this week’s Nokia N8 Game A Day suggestions: Monopoly Classic HD from Electronic Arts. Just as the name implies, the classic Monopoly game that households around the world know and enjoy is now available for your Nokia N8.
Whether you’re a fan of the race car, thimble, or cannon everyone will enjoy this classic game now on mobile. Up to 4 players can play via hot seat mode or you can challenge the AI which comes in three difficulties: easy, medium, and hard. A new feature (and one that I quite enjoy) is the ability to shake your device to roll the dice. This gives the game more of a classic feel that’s missing in other mobile versions. Combine this with the incredibly crisp graphics on the Nokia N8 and Monopoly Classic HD is a great game to play with friends or family.
Monopoly Classic HD comes packed with options, allowing you to play with whatever House rules you like. These customizable settings are:
- Starting the game with some or all of the properties on the board, allowing for quicker games
- Free Parking paying nothing, Taxes, or $250
- Passing Go being worth $0, $200, or $400
- Landing On Go being worth $200 or $400
- Turning auctions on/off
For those being worried about long games fear not, you can save and exit your game at any time. Making it the perfect game to play when you have 10 minutes to kill. Monopoly Classic HD is available now on the Store for the Nokia N8. At $2.99, it’s much cheaper than the real thing!
