Nokia N8 Game A Day: Ovi suggests Cricket T20 Fever 3D

Living in Vancouver I don’t play much cricket, in fact I don’t even know the rules! But when I tried Cricket T20 Fever 3D from India Games I knew it was a hit. It’s inclusion on today’s Nokia N8 Game A Day coincidentally aligns with The Ashes Series 2010/2011 starting this week, so it’s a great time to play and enjoy some cricket.

Cricket T20 allows you to play the new Twenty20 mode as well as One Day, Trophy 09, and Power Play modes; all of which are in HD. You can also play Quick Matches that let you jump right into the action with some of your favourite teams like England, Australia, South Africa, and many more.

If you’re unfamiliar with cricket or haven’t played it on mobile I recommend taking the tutorial prior to playing. In-depth tutorials are available for both Batting and Bowling, allowing you to get the feel for both quite comfortably before getting into a real game. *Warning: The music is great but I found it quite loud at the default setting so mute your phone or have a headset attached if you’re playing in a quiet place.

Cricket T20 Fever 3D is available now on the Store for the Nokia N8, Nokia C7, and upcoming Symbian^3 devices. Make sure you use WiFi to download as it’s a 22MB file. If you don’t have a Symbian^3 device you can download the Java game here.

I found a funny easter egg in the game; the umpire’s name is Billi Bored. Post in the comments if you find any more.

Happy Gaming,
Myles
