Motorola Mobility posts $80m profit as Verizon iPhone looms

Motorola Mobility today reported a profit acting for the first time after its split. The company said it posted an $80 million profit attributable solely to its phone business in the fall. Its performance kept up a year of profit and was a major turnaround from a $204 million loss blamed on phones just a year earlier, when the original Droid was just reaching stores....
