Moto Droid 2 R2-D2 edition to ship September 30

Verizon's promised R2-D2 edition Droid 2 received a confirmed shipping date of September 30 through promos spotted at the Star Wars Celebration expo going on this week. The special edition spotted by an Android Central reader should arrive roughly six weeks after the black original and is confirmed to have the astromech-inspired white body spotted earlier. The special Star Wars software hasn't yet been spoiled....
