Lion may ship July 14, come hand-in-hand with MacBook Air

A pair of new tips have narrowed down the launch of the just completed Lion to July 14 with a possible surprise in store. Although basically finished, the OS should wait about two weeks to at least screen for last-minute bugs. While there weren't any anticipated risks, 9to5 heard it could be pushed back if a significant problem shows up before release day....
