Legal briefs confirm iPhone deal originally to end in 2012

A pair of legal documents found today have confirmed that AT&T's exclusive deal for the iPhone was originally set to last until 2012. As part of an amended motion to dismiss a 2007 lawsuit and a court response denying a dismissal, Apple admitted that a USA Today article leaking the details of the 5-year contract was accurate.
