James Whatley loves his Nokia N86 8MP, so should youI posted some first thoughts on the Nokia N86 8MP phone back in June and stated it was the best dual-slider we have seen from Nokia. I have been busy with a ton of other new devices (N97, E71x, myTouch 3G, iPhone 3GS, Touch Pro2, etc.) and set the N86 aside without following up with a more detailed look at the device. James Whatley posted an excellent article on the N86 8MP that has inspired me to pop my SIM back into it and give it another go for a week or two. As you can read in his article, James love the Nokia N86 8MP and makes some excellent points regarding its capabilities.

When I arrived at the end of James’ article I was actually a bit saddened by the reality of the situation for Nseries devices. I had the opportunity, through the Nseries Blogger Relations program (now ended), to evaluate some innovative and fantastic Nseries smartphones that were highly focused on media creation and sharing. The N86 8MP is definitely one of the finest Nseries devices ever released, but with the focus today on the touchscreen experience it hasn’t seem to have gotten much attention. If you are a person who wants a fantastic phone and you do not need a QWERTY keyboard then you should keep your eye out for deals on the N86 8MP. Stay tuned for a more detailed look at my experiences with the N86 in a week or two.
