Iiyama rolls 24-, 27-inch VA-based desktop LCDs

Iiyama has brought out two new monitors, the 24-inch XB2472HD-B and the 27-inch X2775HDS-B. Both use Vertical Alignment (VA) LCD technology, which creates a wide 178-degree viewing angle without the cost of IPS (in-plane switching). The vendor also claims that VA provides higher contrast and more uniform color than alternative display technologies, though it's likely referring to TN (twisted nematic) and not the color-rich IPS....
