HTC sees fastest growth on US soil thanks to Android

HTC chief Peter Chou this weekend told the media that much of his company's recent smartphone success comes from the US. He wouldn't provide a percentage but said American shipments were growing "faster than others." As many as six million HTC phones shipped to the US in 2009, many of which were phones like the T-Mobile myTouch 3G (HTC Magic) as well as Verizon's Droid Eris....
