HTC Evo 4G crushes Sprint's first-day sales records

Sprint today revealed that the Evo 4G launch blew past its previous first-day sales records. While the carrier wouldn't provide numbers, it said the Android phone sold three times as many phones on a single day than the Palm Pre and Samsung Instinct together. The sales rate was enough to trigger shortages at some stores and for Sprint to ship extra stock on a daily basis....
