Google drops Wave after lack of interest

Google today said it would drop Google Wave. The over year-old service had "not seen the user adoption [Google] would have liked" and won't be a developed further. The search firm plans to keep supporting Wave through at least the end of the year and, as it's open-source, says both the technology and the data will be made exportable to other services....
