Google Maps on Android gets tablet navigation for transit

Google pushed out an update to Google Maps on Android (Android Market) that catered primarily to tablet owners. Users with an Android 3 tablet can now get the same Transit Navigation as their smartphone-owning counterparts. Everyone in a Transit Navigation area also has the option of ringtone or spoken notifications to let them know when they're near a stop in a more direct form than vibrate mode....
