Gateway intros notebooks with backlit touchpads

Gateway at Computex is showing off 13.3-inch EC339C and 14-inch ID49C08u notebooks that are unique in offering glowing touchpads. The pads light up only when touched, and are an integrated button, Engadget reported. There is otherwise a chiclet-style keyboard complete with a dedicated social networking shortcut key; pressing the key launches an app that can house Facebook, YouTube and FlickR feeds to a timeline....
