Foursquare to offer, track election check-ins

Location-based social network Foursquare will soon launch an election-specific site that goes live November 2 along with a related badge. It was brought out together with political strategists, designers and activists and will be accompanied by a real-time visualization of check-ins for Election Day. The aim is to encourage voters, and maybe even young voters who are into Foursquare, to come out and vote, as well as encourage others on Foursquare to do the same....
