Yes, when I have the chance to personally meet you, for instance during Nokia World, or to answer your comments on this blog or on Twitter, I feel like part of a great community.

Who are you and what do you do? Tell us the story of your life!

kreativtek: My name is Jarosław Sroka, I’m 17-years-old teenager and I live in Poland. I blog on MobileGeekInc.com and I really love it. I’m interested in, first of all, mobile phones, then computers, software, hardware, design, art… Oh, the list is long. In general – I’m a geek :)

rodakk: Mateusz Rodak. 19 years of age. Well… Story of my mobile life is long and boring, so I’ll keep it in very short way. In the past mobile forums junkie (mostly my local, polish one – GSMForum.pl). Recently I graduated from high school and I finally had time to start my own blog – MobileGeekInc.com. Basically I’m interested in all things mobile. Die-hard Nokia fan since my first Symbian device – Nokia 3650.

What makes you passionate about what you do?

kreativtek: That’s pretty hard question. There are a lot of factors, but the first is the feeling of constant change. Things change and develop literally in seconds and I love to keep an eye on them. Second are people – in business we’re all the same: passionate, hardworking and aiming at the same. The third are, of course, mobile phones – I love all new mobiles, especially having a hands-on.

rodakk: Everybody has own hobby. Mine are mobile phones since many years and what makes me passionate about it is the whole community. Thanks to the power of the Internet I was able to discover new opportunities. In the past we have had forum meet-ups several times. As you all know it’s great to hang up with like-minded people.
For now twitter keeps me updated with many mobile geeks around the globe. It’ll be great to meet all of you guys in the future (you know who you are). I’m really looking forward to it! Hit me up if you want.

kreativtek: And @kreativtek! :)

What do you like to do on your spare time? Do you have any hobbies, pets etc.?

kreativtek: Spare time? What is it? :P No, but honestly, in my free time I like to bike (especially using Maps on my Nokia 5230), reading books, drawing, playing videogames and hanging out with my friends. But usually I am busy with browsing Twitter, Facebook, Engadget and… this Blog. Ah, did I mention photography? I really love it. There aren’t many better things, then taking pictures of beautiful landscapes or snapshots of unique moments…  Especially with mobile phone. You can find some of my photos in this interview.

rodakk: Spare time… Haven’t heard of that thing…;) I think I’m very busy person. Even when I’m not really busy, I just keep feeling like I am. I never get bored. There’s always something new to check out on the Internet, there’s always something to do around the house or something. Oh, I almost forgot! I’m really into biking! But even at this stage, I had to add something ‘mobile’. Since I first saw original Sports Tracker I become a big fan of it. I was using the service since the beginning I guess. Now I’m tracking my workouts with Endomondo and new Sports Tracker. Check out my setup!

How did you find out about us (this Blog)?

kreativtek: I think some of the people I follow on Twitter posted the link. I clicked it and.. here I am!

rodakk: I really don’t remember… I guess on somebody’s tweet or maybe in my RSS reader.

How long have you been an Ovi and Nokia fan?

kreativtek: Unfortunately not that long, just a few months now. I used to be other companies fanboy… but those were mistakes. Their interaction with fans and customers is incomparable with Nokia’s. I fell in love with Nokia people. They socialize with their fans and I really like it.

rodakk: The whole craze started 5 years ago. My classmate owned N-Gage. I was amazed by the games and apps that he had on the phone and I started to look for something with similar functions. I finally found Nokia 3650. Since then I was geeking around with many Symbian devices. I couldn’t even count them just now. I’d have to do a little research, get a list of all Symbian phones and count which ones I used to own.

What do you like most about Ovi and Nokia?

kreativtek: Your services are reliable and easy to use, customer support works great and the team reliable for contact with fans is just perfect! Ah, and I also like your clean, minimalistic logo. I, as a designer, can appreciate it.

rodakk: S60 platform. Many people nowadays don’t consider S60 smartphones as devices which can compete with rivals. I deny this statement. I’m with S60 since OS 6.1 and I have been watching its development closely during the years and I’m seeing how it evolves. It’s not about being a fanboy. I owned some other devices but they just didn’t made the cut for me.

What was your very first Nokia?

kreativtek: It was Nokia N73. Pretty good phone, but it was long, long before I started to be interested in Symbian. So I was not able to notice, how great this OS is.

rodakk: Nokia 5110. Many years ago. Those were the times… Classic Snake ftw!

Which Nokia do you use right now?

kreativtek: The awesome, queen-of-all-navigation-phones Nokia 5230, which built-in GPS receiver has never failed me. I really like this phone, however it is not rich in features. There are only two things it lack in my opinion – Wi-Fi module and home screen widgets (*winking at software team*). Except for that – this phone really suits my on-the-go needs.

rodakk: Nokia E71 and Nokia E5. Actually, the Nokia E71 is my second Nokia E71. I have switched the previous one for Nokia N78 if I remember right. But I eventually realized that Nokia E71 is just perfect for me. I can always count on it. Nokia E5 is my current review device. I bought it recently just to write a review, make an unboxing etc. Just to test how it performs.

What’s your favourite thing you’ve downloaded from Store? Why?

kreativtek: Of course it’s an application: BatchUninstall. It uninstalls several apps and once and really comes in handy when You are such an app-addicted person as me :)

rodakk: Let me check the Store history… Ok, I’m back :) That was hard to decide. I think that it’s good to point something that’s not generally known. The app is called PowerBoot. Basically it’s like an autostart function in Windows. You can add there all of the apps that you use daily. In my case it’s music player and Mobbler – a Last.fm client.

What were you looking for the last time you used Maps?

kreativtek: Well… I love navi-biking with Maps. I have biked a lot kilometers being navigated by Maps in my Nokia 5230 only. It has never failed or misled me. Moreover, you once posted my story about biking with Maps here, on this Blog! :-)

rodakk: Last week I was adding to favourites a few places in Warsaw. We went there to attend an event held by Nokia Poland. We were so excited about that one!

What would you like tell us here at Ovi by Nokia?

kreativtek: Just a few words: do, what You do, because Your fans love it.

rodakk: You’re good at what you’re doing. I mean the Blog crew. But to be honest, Ovi could be even better… There are few glitches that I’d like to highlight. Nokia Ovi Suite main window doesn’t fit my netbook’s screen, it’s too big; Ovi sometimes can’t remember that I have logged in recently and keeps asking me for my username and password. I know that those are just bugs, but very annoying ones especially if you are a frequent Ovi user.

kreativtek: I can’t see Mateusz’s point. Nokia Ovi Suite has always worked fine for me ;)

@kreativtek @rodakk Don’t mention that haircut… That was two years ago!
