Facebook hires for desktop apps, mum on iPad version

Facebook's newly opened Seattle office has been recruiting in a signs it's developing desktop software. A post for a Desktop Software Engineer would have the developer write Mac and Windows desktop apps. Few clues showed up as to the nature, but apps would likely need "server-side APIs" to integrate the apps more tightly with the social network....
