Droid's Android 2.2 arrives for automatic, manual updates

Motorola and Verizon today started pushing out the promised update to Android 2.2. While it's unknown how many are getting the over-the-air upgrade, a manual download (ZIP, instructions) is already available to install for those willing to risk a less certain update process themselves. All Droids should run 2.2 within days regardless of the download....
