Congratulations to our five Sports Tracker winners!

Our Sports Tracker competition extravaganza just ended a moment ago, and wow, was that a tight competition or what! We made an announcement about this in our previous post as well, but we figured it might be good to repeat that the voting system that we use apparently works ...

Our Sports Tracker competition extravaganza just ended a moment ago, and wow, was that a tight competition or what! We made an announcement about this in our previous post as well, but we figured it might be good to repeat that the voting system that we use apparently works best on newer browsers (such as Internet Explorer 8 or Firefox 3 and up), which may have caused some headache for users of older browser version, HOWEVER we have confirmed that all votes have been counted in, trust us on this. If you were able to see the results of the vote at any point during voting, that means you vote was registered. The system also doesn’t allow double voting, so we’re very confident about the reliability of the vote.

It should also be noted once again that the purpose of this vote was to give the community (you guys!) a chance to decide who has the best entry and who should win. Up until now we’ve always done the judging ourselves in all our competitions and figured that we should do it like this for a change. We definitely love all the winning entries and think that the “people have spoken”, but you can always let us know below in the comments section if you think that we shouldn’t use the voting system in our future Sports Tracker competitions (as there will be many in the near future)

So, after that silly business, I’m very pleased to announce that the following winning entries:

Our no. 1 winner is Vesna with his “A Girl’s Face” workout shape that gathered a stunning % of all votes. Congrats! You will be getting the Polar + Ovi Swag package and a fabulous Ovi skateboard.

Our first runner-up was rchiappe with his rendition of a “Running Man”, made entirely in downtown Miami.

The second runner-up is Karlo and his “Old Lady”…

…the third runner-up is Tiago with his “Running World”…

…and last, but not least we have Marek with his “Elephant”.

Congratulations to all our winners and big thank you to every single one of you who participated! We will be in touch with all the winners very soon in regard to their prizes, and for everyone else who didn’t win this time: as mentioned, as we <3 Sports Tracker and the Sports Tracker guys <3 us, we will most definitely be launching another competition here in the Ovi Blog very soon!
