Android Market's anti-fragmentation app support goes llive

A promised update to the new Android Market to help cure device fragmentation has quietly gone live, Google mentioned Thursday. Instead of relying on one APK (app installer) to handle every device, developers can now publish multiple APKs to target multiple models. The store can now scan for a device and give just the app that will work best for that hardware, such as only devices that have keyboards, only tablets, or only devices with NFC, for example....
