AU Optronics countersues Samsung over patent infringement

Taiwanese maker of flat panel monitors AU Optronics on Monday filed a countering lawsuit against Samsung for allegedly infringing on its flat panel patents. At the same time, the company named AT&T, Best Buy and BrandsMart USA for selling and distributing infringing tech in TVs, monitors, notebooks, cell phones and tablets. AUO asked the Delaware District Court to order a stop of sales of the infringing devices and to be given financial compensation for the alleged damage....
