AT&T may up modem caps, lower prices to compete with Verizon

AT&T may be on the verge of bringing its 3G modem data prices in line with if not above those of Verizon. A new slip Friday night had AT&T lowering the price on its 5GB LaptopConnect plan to $50 and introducing a new 3GB plan at $30. BGR expected the update to take effect as soon as Sunday, which it often chooses for rate shifts....
