We have very exciting (and sporty!) news! As you may have noticed, Sports Tracker just announced that they will open their new web service next Thursday, August 12th. Well, since we here at Ovi are homies (yo) with the guys over at ST, we managed to get a sneak preview at the new service, and it looks amazing! The whole service has basically been renewed. There’s, for example, a great workout view with automatic comparison to previous workouts, and the new training calendar shows nice summaries of your workouts over the past weeks and months. You can make the service look your own by changing the colors and selecting your favorite background theme or by uploading your own. With the new version of the mobile app you can also upload and share your workouts directly to Facebook from your phone. Fantastic!
Believe it or not, our entire team is a bit sport-nutty, and pretty much all of us do a bit of daily walking, running or cycling (I just walk everywhere in heels, though, and that is perfectly enough for me, thankyouverymuch
). So you can understand our excitement over here. In fact, we are so excited about the new release that we decided to start up yet another Sports Tracker-related competition! Yes, you can win free stuff from us again! We’ve gotten a hold of a bunch of the brand new WearLink+ Transmitter with Bluetooth heart rate belts by Polar that that are ONLY available from shop.sports-tracker.com. And us here at the Ovi Blog, of course. We also have tons of very cool & sporty Ovi swag to give out (pictures coming up), so you don’t want to miss this competition. So, when the web service opens next Thursday and all of you can access it, we will kick off the competition officially here at the Ovi Blog and tell you what kind of hoops you have to jump through to get your hands on the amazing prizes
Stay tuned!

P.S. Did you know that Sports Tracker supports a whopping 37 Nokia phone models (including the E71 which is coming next week)? And, Symbian^3 devices will also supported with N8 as the lead mobile!
