We have our three Nokia World competition winners!!

We finally have the info from our honorable Ovi jury and we will now tell you who our very, very lucky Nokia World 2010 competition winners are. These three will get flights and accommodation in London, plus, of course, a ticket to Nokia World 2010. And damn, was this even more difficult than last time… every single one of the entries was good enough to grant its creator a ticket to Nokia World, but it really came down to the nitty-gritty details and we simply had to make a cut. Believe me, we really wish we could bring all of you along!!

However, here they are. The last three who will get to go to Nokia World this year, courtesy of the Ovi Blog. Phew, let’s all take a deep breath.

The first one is… well, one of our previous runner-ups. Simon. Yes, he was a runner-up in phase 1 of the competition but this time around he did something so fantastic that he’s now going to London. He… he made us a rap song. A FRIGGIN’ RAP SONG. Seriously, if you make a rap song about Ovi, you have automatically earned yourself a ticket It also just became the official anthem in our Ovi HQ! So congrats, Simon! You didn’t give up, and now we will see you in London!! Yay!

Our next ticket goes to Maria, who convinced us with the following video:

Maria showed us her extensive Nokia device collection and explained her long history with Nokia that goes all the way back to when she was 11 and got her first Nokia phone. She also explained how she integrates Nokia and Ovi into her passion of fashion blogging, which we loved. And, she’s as cute as a button! All this under 60 seconds! We would be crazy not to give her a ticket. So we’ll see you in London, Maria!!

Our third and final ticket goes to Iain Wallace, because not only did he show his interest towards Nokia World to us, in the process he also helped the community and everyone else who will not get to go there this year: he made us a Nokia World app! It’s apparently not fully tested yet and we actually have a similar app coming up soon (heh), but the thought was so kind and the thinking was so creative, valuable and out-of-the-box that it deserves a ticket. Good job, Iain!

We also have a couple of runners-up like last time who came in SO CLOSE and we’re just dying inside that we can’t bring you along too! AGH#!!1!GRWJHFDSB”09RH!! (that was me headdesk-ing, in case you were wondering). Our first runner-up, gregg003, wrote us an amazing blog post counting all the ways he’s tried to get into Nokia World 2010 (and there are many!). We really, really wish we could bring you along as well, but maybe all the Ovi swag you’ll be getting in the mail will console you a bit?

Our second runner-up, Shankar Rao, made us LOL. Which is why he will also get some Ovi stuff in the mail! He sent us the following tweet:

“I should get a ticket to Nokia World 2010 because I want to show how my 8 yr old 3310 still makes calls no matter how I hold it”

I mean… come on, man That’s funny!

Our third runner-up is Prassad with his fun and up-beat video. The concept and implementation was very creative and for this, you will also get some Ovi swag in the mail. Congrats!
