Verizon Wireless Expands 3G Network Coverage Along the Northway and in Clinton County

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y., Dec. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless announced today that it has activated the 6th of 13 planned sites that will eventually close a more-than-50-mile coverage gap along Interstate 87 - the Northway - between Albany and Plattsburgh. The new cell site in Chesterfield, Essex County, improves coverage and capacity along I-87 between Exits 32 and 33, and on Route 9 from Route 22 to the Four-Wheeler Trail in Lewis.
