OK, time for a plug for our fairly new Nokia Accessory store now that people are starting to pick up the Nokia E71x at their local AT&T stores. I have had an unlocked E71 since last Fall and am very familiar with the device and what accessories are good to have on hand so I wanted to pass along some of my recommendations to you.
Nokia Car Charger DC-4: With AT&T Navigator running in your car on your Nokia E71x, you are going to want to have a charger for your car. The DC-4 plugs into your cigarette lighter/power adapter and charges up your E71x on the go.
Nokia 3.5mm headset adapter: One thing I don’t like about the E71x is the usage of a 2.5mm headset jack that doesn’t let me use my high end earphones with the device. You will need to pick up a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter to be able to use your standard earphones and I really wish Nokia or AT&T would include one of these in every retail package.
Nokia 1500 mAh BP-4L battery: You will find that the Nokia E71x gets excellent battery life and even power users should be able to get by on a full day with a single charge. However, if you are traveling or do not have access to a charger you can pick up a spare BP-4L 1500 mAh battery for your E71x and pop it in whenever you get low.
Dane-Elec 16GB microSDHC card: I am a big fan of removable storage media and am still amazed how far down in price and size these cards have gone over the last few years. You can use a microSD card to store photos, movies, music, and even applications with the E71x. Check out the 16GB card we have in our store to fill your storage needs.
Case-Mate Clear Armor film: The Nokia E71x does not have a touchscreen, but it is so small and compact you will find yourself throwing it in your shirt and pants pockets. You may also have keys in your pocket so consider the Case-Mate Clear Armor film to protect the display and the back of your E71x from scratches. You get 2 full sets in the package and this is a product I will be getting soon for my own new E71x.
There are several more good accessories in our store too so check them out if you are looking to optimize your E71x experience. Are there other accessories you recommend for Nokia Experts readers?
