Even better, for those of you always on the move, Mark Schiralli (asternwarning.com) and Markus Pettersson (vampyr.se) will be out in Turkey, covering all their FIBA experiences daily on the Ovi Bball app, available to download from Store right now. There’s also a Turkish version of the app that will be covered by Maliano and Pinar who will also be there at the games.
To celebrate the FIBA World Championship, Ovi wants to involve you all in the action! We here at Ovi will be running a competition for all our Bball fans – launching on the 28th August, the first day of the FIBA World Championship.
So how to play? During the FIBA World Championship we’ll be asking 10 basketball-themed questions on the Bball app under ‘Quizmaster’ and also on Ovi by Nokia Twitter. The first question will be available on August 29th, the day after the games begin. You’ll have to keep your eye on the Bball app, because some of the answers will be hidden in the blog posts that are only available there! To enter, all you need to do is tweet back @ovibynokia with the answer AND using the hashtag #OviFIBA.
Our Ovi basketball fans that answer every question correctly will go in a draw to win some amazing prizes. We’ve got Nokia BH-905 noise canceling headphones to give away as well as official FIBA branded basketballs, Ovi swag and more!
The last question will be on the day of the FIBA World Championship final. On the 13th of September we’ll list everyone who has answered all the questions correctly within the Bball app. Then those names will go into a draw and we’ll select our winners.
